Would you like to learn about how to build websites, but don’t know where to start? Learning how to code can seem like an impossible task so we’ve decided to put on a workshop to show programming beginners how it can be done and get them excited about the world of technology.
Join us on Friday 27th September 2024 for a free one-day workshop in Aba, where we’ll be giving attendees the chance to learn about programming and to ultimately build their own website.
Django Girls is a crash course that is aimed at total beginners. You don’t need to know anything about programming, we just expect you to bring your own laptop, to be able to commit to the all-day workshop on Friday 13th October and to have a sufficient understanding of English so you’re able to follow our English tutorial. You will work through the tutorial in a small group of three attendees and one coach so you’ll be able to do it at your own pace. If you’d like to join us, please apply below.
There will be an install fest on Thursday (26th September 2024) - a day before the main workshop at Ashpot. We believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become a seasoned developer!
The workshop on Friday and the pre-workshop installation party will hold at Ashpot Hub (11 Nicholas Street off Brass Junction Umungasi Aba)
