If you are a female and you want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you! We are holding a two-days workshop for beginners!
It will take place on Friday July 20th 7pm - 9pm and Saturday July 21st 10am - 6pm at Seoul Startup Hub 10F Auditorium. On Friday, we will install everything we need for the workshop and on Saturday, we will dive into building our website.
We believe that IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us - female programmers!
Workshops are free of charge but don’t wait too long - you can apply for a pass only until July 1st, 23:59!
If you are a woman, you know English or Korean and have a laptop - you can apply for a pass! You don’t need to know any technical stuff - workshops are for people who are new to programming.
As a workshop attendee you will:
Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge(i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
We'll install everything we need on Friday(July 20th). Please make sure you can attend both days and if you can't come on Friday, send us an email ([email protected]) so that we can help you.
Is food provided?
Yes. Thanks to our sponsors, we will be able to provide snacks and lunch during the workshop.

시간은 7월 20일(금) 오후 7시 - 9시, 7월 21일(토) 오전 10시 - 오후 6시입니다. 장소는 서울 창업 허브 10층 대강당입니다. 금요일에는 워크샵에 필요한 프로그램 설치를 진행하고, 토요일에 본격적인 워크샵을 진행할 거에요.
우리는 더 많은 여성분들이 IT 분야로 진출할 수 있어야 한다고 믿습니다. 여러분들께 어떻게 프로그래밍에 입문할 수 있는지 도와드리고, 더 많은 여성들이 프로그래머가 될 수 있는 기회를 만들고 싶어요!
워크샵은 무료로 진행됩니다. 하지만 너무 오래 망설이진 마세요 - 참가 신청은 7월 1일 23시 59분에 마감됩니다.
영어 또는 한국어를 할 수 있고, 노트북이 있다면 - 참가 신청을 할 수 있어요! 기술적인 것들은 전혀 몰라도 됩니다 - 프로그래밍에 처음인 사람들을 위한 워크샵이기 때문이죠.

아니요! 워크샵은 입문자를 위해서 진행합니다. 아무것도 몰라도 괜찮아요. HTML이나 CSS을 조금 다뤄보았더라도 역시 신청이 가능합니다.
내 노트북에 프로그램을 설치 해 놓아야 하나요?
워크샵 첫날인 금요일에 미리 필요한 프로그램을 설치할 수 있도록 도와드릴 거에요. 금요일에 꼭 참석을 해주시고, 만약 참석이 어렵다면 저희가 도움을 드릴 수 있도록 메일([email protected])로 알려주세요.
내 노트북을 가져가야 되나요?
네. 개인 노트북을 가져오시기 바랍니다. 워크샵에서 직접 만든 결과물을 집으로 가져가는 것도 저희에겐 중요하기 때문이에요.
