Would you like to learn about how to build websites, but don’t know where to start? Learning how to code can seem like an impossible task so we’ve decided to put on a workshop to show programming beginners how it can be done and get them excited about the world of technology.
Join us on Saturday 23rd September 2023 for a free one-day workshop in Cardiff, where we’ll be giving attendees the chance to learn about programming and to ultimately build their own website. The workshop takes place as part of day one of PyCon UK 2023, a big conference for programmers which gathers a lot of talented people from all over the world.
Django Girls is a crash course that is aimed at total beginners. You don’t need to know anything about programming, we just expect you to bring your own laptop, to be able to commit to the all-day workshop on Saturday 23rd September and to have a sufficient understanding of English so you’re able to follow our English tutorial. You will work through the tutorial in a small group of three attendees and one coach so you’ll be able to do it at your own pace. If you’d like to join us, please apply below.
The workshop is free of charge and is part of PyCon UK 2023.
A detailed schedule will be confirmed.
PyCon UK talks and workshops Talks and other sessions - a full programme will be published once finalised.
All Django Girls attendees will receive free tickets to the full conference and we would encourage you to attend if you are able.
