If you are a Django Girl or want to be a Django Girl (Django Developer) of Mashhad, we have good news for you: we are holding a one-day get together of DjangoGirls Mashhad!
It will take place on 18, June, 2018 at KSTP in Mashhad, Iran.
We believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to gather all python/Django developer women at one platform and to strengthen – women programmers!
Django Girls Mashhad is free of charge and if you cannot afford coming to CITY but are very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others, we may have some funds to help you out with your accommodation. Don't wait too long: you can apply for the workshop only until 30 April, 2018!
If you are a woman developer or want to be a woman developer you can meet our Django Girls Mashhad Community, and can have oppertunity to learn from others in our upcoming event! You can build a network for your projects – and even can get projects from this gathering if you are strong enough in social communication.

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
Yes! As it is a gathering of programmer and you can learn from them so, you should know a little about Django. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
I am living in another country, can I attend?
Of course! Workshops will be in English, so if you have no troubles with speaking and understanding English - you should apply. If you need financial aid to get to Mashhad or you need assistance with booking flights or hotel in Mashhad - let us know. We are willing to help you! Be Sure, we will provide full accomodation of 1-2 days for international participant as free.
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own.We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task.
Is DjangoGirl Mashhad gathering is good for a total beginner?
Yes, if you wanna work on Django and you like Django, then DjangoGirls Mashhad is a platform you are looking for. Even though you are new to programming, get together is a good place to meet many interesting people in the industry and find inspiration.
Is food provided?
Yes. Thanks to EuroPython, snacks and refreshment only will be served during get together.
