It will take place on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at Agora Learning Center in Leuven.
We believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us – women programmers! #girlswhocode

We are supporters of girls who are interested in coding and technology, and who want to pursue an education and/or a possible career in tech.
You don't need to know any technical stuff – our workshop is for people who are new to programming. All you need is a laptop and to understand English!🍀
The workshop is free of charge! It will be a day full of programming, fun and inspiring talks. We have space only for a limited amount of people, so make sure to fill out the form very carefully!
You can apply for the workshop only until February 24th.
Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
No! Workshops are for beginners (new to programming). You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
I am not living in Leuven, can I attend?
Of course! Anyone from Belgium and beyond is welcome! Workshops will be in English, so if you have no troubles with speaking and understanding English - you should apply.
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but we wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own. We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task. No worries! :)
What can I expect?
The event is a full-day programming workshop where you will create your own website using HTML, CSS, Python, Django and Git. During the day we will provide you with food and drinks! You can't code on an empty stomach, right? At the event you can meet other girls and share your experiences. We will make sure you'll have an awesome day! Nobody will leave the workshop empty-handed (surprise!).
What do you mean with 'all ages'?
There is no age limitation for the participants. All you need to have is curiousity! It is possible for underage girls to take a parent with them.
If you have any questions regarding the workshop, don't hesitate to contact us through Facebook, Twitter or [email protected].
We couldn't be here without the support from amazing people and organizations who donated money, knowledge and time to help us make this a reality. We are still looking for kind souls that want to support us; more supporters means more women can join the event! If you want to contribute and support our goal, contact us at [email protected]!
