Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?

No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!

I am not a woman. Am I allowed to attend?

Of course - we are open to anyone and everyone who is interested in technology, wants to learn how to code a website, or simply has access to a computer.

Should I bring my own laptop?

We prefer that you bring your own wifi-enabled laptop with you. It is important for us that you be able to take home everything you’ll write and create during the workshop. Please note that having access to campus wifi is preferred.

Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?

Nope! We will be having an installation party the night before, where the coaches can help you out with this task.

Is food provided?

Yes! We will provide breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, we recommend bringing your own food.

Why are you doing this?

We want to assure women and non-binary folk who are interested in technology that you are not alone! We want to give women a safe space to learn, ask questions, make new friends, and feel supported as they learn something new.
