If you are a lady and want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you:
we are holding a one-day workshop for beginners!
It will take place on 24th, April, 2025 at The Software Lab, Highland College of Technology, Samonda (Adjacent Dominican University) in the CITY of Ibadan.
A concurrent event will also take place on 24th, April, 2025 at The Codingschool Hub, Codify, Oju Oju Odo Bus stop, Along Iyana church/Alakia Road. in the CITY of Ibadan.
Workshops are free of charge and promise to be EXCITING! Age is NO BARRIER!. We just want you to be very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others. Don't wait too long: you can apply for the workshop only until APRIL 22nd!
If you are a lady, know English and have a laptop, you can apply for our event! You don't need to know any technical stuff – our workshop is for people who are new to programming.
No Laptop? No problems! You can still apply for our event! We will arrange devices to help out. But you will need to register and indicate early

We have space only for 30 people, so make sure to fill out the form very carefully!
Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
I am not living in Ibadan, can I attend?
Of course! Workshops will be in English, so if you have no troubles with speaking and understanding English - you should apply. If you need you do have any special need, please let us know. We are willing to help you!
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops. Fortunately, we are making a few arrangemnts with our sponsors to have some hardware supplied. However, you will need to indicate early.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own.We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task. We normally schedule a day before the event to sort out installation issues. Don't worry, you will be in good hands.
Is the Ibadan Django-Python conference good for a total beginner?
Learning to speak any language on your own can be frustrating, discouraging and slow. Even though you are new to programming, the conference is a good place to meet many interesting people in the industry and find inspiration.
Is food provided?
Yes. Light refreshments and snacks will be served during workshops.
