This event is for females who don't have programming experience and want to build their website. We are holding a one-day workshop for beginners!

It will take place on 21st of November in Doha at Tornado tower 5th floor.

We believe that programming can be intimidating and presumed to be only for super geeks. We want you to have the opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us - female programmers!

Workshops are free of charge, so make sure you don't miss out! As we do have limited seats, we encourage you to show us your motivation. Apply as soon as we open registration on 28th of October!

Apply for a pass!

If you are a woman, you know English and have a laptop - you can apply for a pass! You don’t need to know any technical stuff - workshops are for people who are new to programming.

As a workshop attendee you will:

attend one-day Django workshops during which you will create your first website
will meet highly motivated programer and professionals who will be mentoring you
make new friends and have some meals with us!

We have space only for 30 people, so make sure to fill the form very carefully!

Django Girls

Django Girls Doha is a part of bigger initiative: Django Girls. It is a non-profit organization and events are organized by volunteers in different places of the world.

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?

No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge (i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!

Should I bring my own laptop?

Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
