If you are a female and want to learn how to make websites, we have a good news for you! We are holding a two days workshop for beginners!
It will take place on the 26-27th of February in Geneva, and it is the very first Django Girls event in Switzerland.
We believe that IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us - female programmers!
Workshops is free of charge. If you can’t afford coming to Geneva, but you are very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others, we have some funds to help you out with your travel costs and accommodation. Don’t wait too long - you can apply for a pass only the until 11th of February!
We have space after for 30-40 people, so make sure to fill the form very carefully!

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
No! The workshop is for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it.However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge(i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
I only speak French/English, can I attend?
Of course! The workshop will take place in English and French with the help of our awesome coachs.
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that YOU take home everything you’ll write and create during the workshop.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would be helpful to have Django installed before, but we don't expect you to install anything on your own.We will make sure that one of our coaches help you out with this task.
Is food provided?
Yes. Snacks and lunch will be served during the workshop. And optionally, you can join us on saturday for an evening networking dinner at a nearby restaurant at your own cost though.
