In line with Young African Women in Computing's goal to increase the partcipation of young women in computing, we are holding a one-day web programming workshop for high school girls in Port Elizabeth!
This event will take place on 29th February 2020 at Nelson Mandela University - Embizweni Building in Port Elizabeth.
We believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from more women being involved in technology. We want to give young girls an opportunity to learn how to code and become one of us – women programmers!
Up to 42 girls from Ethembeni Enrichment Centre, Kwazakhele High School, Qaphelani High School, Khumbulani High School, and Sophakama High School in Port Elizabeth will join us for this workshop!
