It will take place on 23rd June 2018 in Mbale
We believe that IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us - female programmers!

If you are a woman and you have a laptop - you can apply for a pass! You don’t need to know any technical stuff - The workshop is for people who are new to programming. As a workshop attendee you will:
We have space only for a limited number of people, so make sure to fill the form very carefully! We usually get some time off to read every application. It takes hours and hours to read and score all the applications and we’re doing all this in our free time, so please be considerate: don’t apply if you’re not 100% committed to this opportunity. You need to be sure you can come to attend the workshop on 23rd June 2018, otherwise your slot would go to waste. If you do apply, please think about your answers carefully and answer every question in detail.

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
No! Workshops are for beginners. You don’t need to know anything about it.However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge(i.e. you know what HTML or CSS are) you still can apply!
I am not living in Mbale, can I attend?
Of course! Every woman is welcome to apply to the workshop! Unfortunately we cannot guarantee financial assistance to help with your transport and accommodation. However, don't hesitate to let us know your situation and we'll do our best to help! :)!
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you.It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would be helpful to have Django installed before workshops, but wouldn't expect you to install anything on your own.We will make sure that one of our coaches will help you out with this task.
Is food provided?
Yes.Snacks and lunch will be served during workshops.
