Do I need any prior knowledge of websites or programming? 🤔
Nope! This workshop is designed for beginners! 🎉 If you know a little about HTML or CSS, that's great, but it's not required. Everyone is welcome!
How will the workshop be organized? 🛠️
We kick off with a Friday evening install fest to set up your computer. Then, on Saturday, we’ll dive into building a project using Django, HTML, and CSS! You’ll work in small groups with tutors available to help if you hit a snag. 💪
Should I bring my own laptop? 💻
Yes, please! We don’t provide hardware, so bring your laptop along. Plus, you'll want to take home everything you create during the workshop!
Do I need to install anything on my laptop beforehand? ❌
No worries! We’ll have an install fest on Friday evening with coaches ready to assist you. Just show up!
Is Django Girls exclusively for women? 👩💻
Not at all! Men are welcome to apply and attend our events. However, women will be given priority in registration.
Will food be provided? 🍕
Absolutely! Thanks to our amazing sponsors, we’ll have snacks and lunch available during the workshop.
