Learn how to make websites. We're holding a one-day workshop with two tracks: Beginner and Intermediate. Pick the track that fits you when you apply.
It will take place on March 06, 2027. The venue will still be announced in January 2027, but it will be in Cagayan de Oro City.

Anyone with a laptop can apply. The Beginner track needs no technical background. It's built for people new to programming. The Intermediate track is for those who already know the basics and want to build on them.

Do I need to know anything about websites or programming?
It depends on the track. The Beginner track is for people with no experience at all. The Intermediate track is for people who already know some basics, like what HTML or CSS are, and want to go further.
I am not living in Cagayan de Oro; can I attend?
Of course. Workshops will be in English or Cebuano, so if you can speak and understand either one, you should apply.
Should I bring my own laptop?
Yes. We have no hardware, so bring your own laptop. It's also important to us that you take home everything you write and create during the workshop.
Do I need to have something installed on my laptop?
It would help to have Django installed before the workshop, but you don't need to do this on your own. One of our coaches will help you with the setup.
Is Django Girls Cagayan de Oro Workshop good for a total beginner?
Yes, that's exactly who the Beginner track is for. Even if programming is completely new to you, it's a great place to meet people in the industry and find inspiration. If you already know some basics, the Intermediate track will push you further.
